Steps
Goal: Adjust settings to reduce touchpad sensitivity.
- Open Settings > Device > Touchpad.
- Good: Settings open. Proceed to Reduce sensitivity.
- Bad: Restart and try again.
Reduce sensitivity
Goal: Lower how easily touches register.
- Move the sensitivity slider toward “Less sensitive”. Turn off tap-to-click.
- Good: Sensitivity reduced. Proceed to Turn off tap-to-click.
- Bad: Enable palm rejection if available.
Turn off tap-to-click
Goal: Avoid accidental taps.
- Turn off tap-to-click. Use physical clicks instead.
- Good: Fewer accidental clicks.
- Bad: If the touchpad is still too sensitive, call support.
