Steps
Goal: Rule out WiFi settings and network issues.
- Confirm WiFi is turned on and networks are visible.
- Good: Networks listed. Proceed to Forget and reconnect.
- Bad: Turn WiFi on and restart the router.
Restart router and Chromebook
Goal: Clear router and Chromebook state.
- Unplug the router for 30 seconds. Plug it back in. Restart the Chromebook. Try connecting.
- Good: Connection works.
- Bad: Forget the network and reconnect.
Forget and reconnect
Goal: Clear corrupted network profile.
- Forget the network. Select it again and enter the correct password.
- Good: Chromebook connects.
- Bad: Try a different network or Powerwash.

- Other devices connect to the same network but the Chromebook does not after Powerwash.
- The WiFi hardware may have failed.
