Steps
Goal: Check power, placement, and restart so the mesh node comes online.
- Confirm the mesh node has power. Verify you should see indicator lights.
- Check that the node is within range of the main router or another node.
- Restart the node and the main router.
- Good: The mesh node comes online. Bad: The node still is offline—reset and re-add, or call support.
Power check
Goal: Confirm the mesh node has power.
- Check the outlet and plug. Confirm the node is not on a switched outlet that is off.
- Good: Node has power. Bad: No power—check outlet, plug, or switch.
Placement check
Goal: Confirm the node is within range.
- Mesh nodes need to be within 30–50 feet of the main router or another node.
- Good: Node is in range. Bad: Node too far—move it closer.
When to get help
Call the manufacturer if:
- The mesh node still is offline after checking power, placement, and resetting.
- You have tried all steps and the node never connects.
Verification
- The mesh node appears online in the app.
- The node extends Wi‑Fi coverage as expected.
- No repeated offline events.
Escalation ladder
Work from the device outward. Stop when the problem is fixed.
- Confirm power Check node is plugged in and outlet has power.
- Check placement Node within range of main router or another node.
- Restart Restart node and main router.
- Reset and re-add Factory reset the node and add it again.
- Call support Manufacturer support if all steps fail.
What to capture if you need help
Before calling support or posting for help, have these ready. It speeds everything up.
- Mesh system model
- Node location
- Steps already tried
Does the mesh node have power?
No power means the node cannot connect.
Check the node is plugged in and the outlet has power. Good: node has power (lights on). Bad: no power—check outlet and plug.
You can change your answer later.
Restore power
Plug the node in and confirm the outlet works. When power is restored, the node should try to connect.
Is the node within range of the main router or another node?
Nodes must be within range to connect.
Check the node is within 30–50 feet of the main router or another node. Good: node is in range. Bad: node too far—move it closer.
You can change your answer later.
Move node closer
Move the node closer to the main router or another node. Restart it. Check if it comes online.
Restart node and main router
Power-cycle the node (30 seconds), then the main router. Good: node comes online. Bad: still offline—reset and re-add, or call support.
