Frequently asked questions

Why would a smart home hub not pair?
Common causes: wrong Wi‑Fi band (hub often needs 2.4 GHz), app or hub not updated, network congestion, or a faulty hub. Check Wi‑Fi and restart first.
Does the hub need 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi?
Many hubs only support 2.4 GHz. If your router combines 2.4 and 5 GHz under one name, it may still work. If not, connect your phone to 2.4 GHz during setup.
When should I reset the hub?
Reset if the hub will not pair after checking power, Wi‑Fi, and restarting. Reset clears all devices—you will need to re-add them. Check the manual for the reset procedure.
