Steps
Goal: Confirm pairing mode, TV Bluetooth, and distance.
- Put the Bluetooth speaker in pairing mode—hold the Bluetooth button for 3–5 seconds until the LED blinks.
- Good: Speaker in pairing mode. Proceed to Check pairing mode.
- Bad: LED does not blink—check the manual for your speaker model.
Check pairing mode
Goal: Confirm the speaker is discoverable.
- Hold the Bluetooth button until the LED indicates pairing (often blinking).
- Open TV Settings > Bluetooth > Add device or Scan.
- Good: Speaker appears in the list. Select it to pair. Done.
- Bad: Speaker does not appear—proceed to Check TV Bluetooth.
Check TV Bluetooth
Goal: Confirm TV Bluetooth is on and has room for the speaker.
- Open TV Settings > Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth on if off.
- Check the paired devices list. If full (often 2–5 devices), remove one you no longer use.
- Good: Bluetooth on and slot free. Put speaker in pairing mode, add again. Done.
- Bad: Still does not connect—proceed to Distance and power-cycle.
Distance and power-cycle
Goal: Rule out distance, interference, and handshake.
- Move the speaker within 10 feet of the TV. Turn off Bluetooth on nearby phones or tablets.
- Power-cycle: unplug TV and speaker for 30 seconds. Plug speaker first, put in pairing mode, then plug in TV. Add the speaker.
- Good: Speaker connects. Done.
- Bad: Still does not connect—call a technician.

- You have checked pairing mode, TV settings, distance, and power-cycle and the speaker still does not connect.
Verification
- The speaker appears in the TV Bluetooth paired list.
- The TV plays audio through the speaker when connected.
