Check motion smoothing
Goal: Enable motion smoothing at a setting that reduces blur without soap-opera effect.
- Use the TV remote. Open Picture Settings. Look for Motion Smoothing, Motion Flow, TruMotion, or Clear Motion.
- Turn on motion smoothing if it is off. Set to low or medium—avoid maximum.
- Good: Fast motion looks sharper. Done.

Gaming mode
Goal: For gaming, enable Game Mode to reduce input lag and some blur.
- Enable Game Mode or low latency mode in picture or input settings. Some TVs disable motion smoothing in Game Mode—that is normal.
