Steps

Goal: Fix Epic so it opens.

  • Run as administrator. Kill stuck process. Clear cache.

Goal: Grant elevated permissions.

  • Right-click Epic > Run as administrator.
  • Good: Epic opens. Bad: Kill process and clear cache.

Clear cache

Goal: Clear corrupted cache.

  • Exit Epic. Delete Launcher/Cache. Restart Epic.
  • Good: Epic opens. Bad: Reinstall.
