Steps
Goal: Fix HDMI so external display works.
- Win+P to Extend or Duplicate. Display settings > Detect.
- Good: Display works. Bad: Update driver.
Win+P display mode
Goal: Send image to external display.
- Press Win+P. Select Extend or Duplicate.
- Good: External display shows image. Bad: Click Detect.
Detect display
Goal: Find the connected display.
- Display settings > Detect. Check cable. Try different port.
- Good: Display listed. Bad: Update driver.

- Display is detected but no image.
